For this private commission I created a personalized advent calendar.
The client has a fondness for the kind of elegant imaginary that you'd see in classic Christmas movies featuring perfectly decorated houses and warm-hearted stories with a snowy background.
That was my starting point for picking a theme for the top sheet of the calendar: a romantic view of the facade of a luxurious hotel under a light snowfall.
I love illustrations where I get to draw large buildings with lots of details, so this work was so much fun.
Once I completed the top sheet I developed 24 smaller illustrations, designing each window as a reference to subjects and themes related to the client's story and interests.
